This topic describes how to alter the initial opening width of the
TOC, Index and Search panel. The method is for webhelp using skins
and was devised by Rick Stone. All
I have done is repeat it here for convenience.
Method
Locate your !SkinSubFolder!\SkinName.skn file
and edit it using a text editor such as Windows Notepad.
Locate the first occurrence of Frameset Cols.
Alter the value to determine the width of the
navigation pane.
A smaller value makes the Navigation pane narrower,
while a larger value makes the Navigation pane wider.
