Accomodation

The Hotel Latrabjarg is in the southern part of Vestfirdir (The Western Fjords) of Iceland near the famous bird-cliffs of Latrabjarg which mark the western-most part of Europe. It is open from mid May each year until late August and is run by the owner Sigridur Huld Gardarsdottir (Sirry) as a comfortable family guesthouse/ hotel.

The building was originally a boarding school for the local farmers' children but the current owners have renovated the building and the rooms for your comfort. New bathroom facilities and kitchen equipment have been installed together with a new water supply that is taken from a crystal clear mountain spring.

Except for the off season prices, all rates are for accomodation per night and include breakfast, coffee, tea, water and wireless broadband internet access.

Double beds are queen size 152 × 203 and single beds are 90x200. Most rooms can be upgraded with an extra portable bed for ISK 4,000 per night. Hotel Látrabjarg offers free wireless Internet access and access to a computer.

Also we have a private beach and a lake in a private valley where we offer trout fishing to guests at a special rate. There is more about that under Activities.
