Audit Log & Backup |
When results are imported into WinPath, a record of the date and time of transfer is created, along with a back-up of the import files. The audit log also provides information about results not transferred, such as when the tests do not appear in the translation table. The audit and backup file names and location are defined in the Application settings window.
Select Electronic Referrals > Import Results, or press [Ctrl] + [4].
Click
on the toolbar, and then select the required referral laboratory code from the drop-down list.
This screen is divided into three parts and includes
On the left, a tree view of the Audit and Backup files,
On the upper right, a description of the Audit file, and
On the lower right, a description of the selected Backup file.
This displays a list of all the audit files, sorted by date, in the form of a tree view, on the left side of the screen.
To view the time when an order was imported, expand the audit file date.
Select the time for which you wish to view detailed information. The detailed Audit information (in the pane at the upper right) displays the laboratory number, and whether the Status update was saved.
The contents of the corresponding Backup file are displayed in the pane at the lower right.
Select an entry in the pane at the upper right to scroll to the corresponding data in the pane at the lower right.
To help track the status a particular specimen, you can search for specific laboratory number:
Enter the laboratory in the Lab Number field.
Enter for how many days back you want to search in the Days field.
NOTE: Normally, each day of the year will have a folder. However, no folder will exist for any day on which no export orders were created.
Click Refresh List to populate the list with only those batches that contain the entered laboratory number.
NOTE: If there are no files matching the entered laboratory number, a Not Found message box informs you that either the entered laboratory number was not found or the files related to it were not found.
To re-import selected files:
Select the file to be re-imported from the Audit/Backup Files (displayed in the tree on the left).
Click Re-Import. A message box confirms that the selected Backup file was re-imported successfully.
Click Close.
