Display Inventory Values by Class

When you click Inventory in the Executive Information Summary (EIS) program, and then click ABC class or Prod class or Acct code these fields display:

Field Name

Displays

Class

The ABC or product class code

Br

The branch associated with the class code

Year

The year set in the Options for the Executive Information Summary program

Per

The period set in the Options for the Executive Information Summary program

Inventory on hand

The inventory value for this class in this period and year:

(On hand x Standard unit cost) + (Intransit x Standard unit cost) + (Floor stock x Standard unit cost)

Percent of total

The percent of the total:

(Inventory value / Total value) x 100

WIP value

The work in process value for this class in this period and year: (work in process x Standard unit cost) + (Intransit x Standard unit cost) + (Floor stock x Standard unit cost)

Percent of total

The percent of the total: (Inventory value / Total value) x 100

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Review your options for this inquiry

Click Prog opts. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries.

Print the class listing

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Display the total inventory value

  1. Click Totals.

  2. Click Print totals to print the total inventory value or click Exit to continue.

Display items in the selected class and their value

Highlight the line and click Detail or double click the line. See Display Inventory Valuation Statistics. Click OK to return to this program.

Return to the Inventory Statistics screen

Click OK. See Display Inventory Statistics.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Quit.
