Use the Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) program to add or change and copy an item with settings that apply to all branches of the enterprise. See Background and Road Map for more information.

When you copy an enterprise item, you can also copy that item's branch and cost records if you select the Copy branch record during item copy? option in Systems Options Maintenance (XM) (Inventory Options). See Background.

  1. Enter the number of the item that you want to copy or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the item number from a list.

  2. Click Copy item.

  3. Clear the number in the Item number field and enter a unique item number.
