Sales Order Packing

Use the Sales Packing (RFSOP) program to pack picked items for a sales order. See Background and Road Map for more information. See Background and Road Map for more information.

This menu item is only available if you selected the Sales: Pick/pack mode? System Options Maintenance (XM) (RF Program Options) program option.

Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

  1. Scan data for these fields:

Scan the packing location.

This entry must match the packing location scanned during picking.

Order

Scan the order number from the document printed with the Sales Order Print (OP) program or with the Order Shipment Selection (RFOSS) program if you selected the Print OP document from RF? in the XM (System Options Maintenance) (RF Program Options) program option.

Line

Required

Scan the item line number.

Item

Conditional / Required

Scan the item number

OR

Scan Skip to pick later and leave the item as is.

(Conditional) Scan the UPC/GTIN code from the carton to verify the item number.

Ser
or
Lot

Conditional / Required

Scan the serial number or lot number.

OR

if there is more than one item and you selected the Sales: Assign/pick seq serial numbers? option, the program displays the first serial number in the range. Scan the last serial number in the range.

Qty

Required

Scan or accept the quantity displayed.

OR

Scan a different quantity.
Scan 0 to not pack the item.

Box no

Conditional / Required

Scan the shipping box number.

This prompt displays only if you selected the Using preprinted box labels? option.

  1. Repeat the packing process for each item on the order.

The program prompts Complete?
