Manually Select Control Numbers

If you do not want the program to assign control numbers for you, you need to select which control numbers you want to use for a manufacturing order.

The program displays these fields:

The manufacturing branch

The serial or lot control number

The warehouse location

The bin location

The quantity available for selection

Obligated

The quantity originally obligated

  1. Click Sel to the left of the control number or location you want to use for this manufacturing order.

  1. Click Exit or choose the appropriate options:

Display the list in reverse order

Click For/Rev. Click again to display the list in its original order.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Display control numbers or locations from a specific number or location

Click Restart. The program prompts Branch, Control number, Warehouse code, and Bin location. Enter the branch and first control number you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first number in the file.

Display all control numbers and locations or only selected control numbers and locations

Click Selected/All.

Enter a range of control numbers

Click Range and then:

Beginning serial no

Enter the first serial number you want to assign. The first number in a range must end in a numeric.

Ending serial no

Enter the last serial number in a range.

Qty to process

Enter the quantity you want to process

Click Obligate to assign these serial numbers; click Remove Obl to unassign these serial numbers, or click Cancel to abandon assigning a range of serial numbers.

Pick the selected control numbers or from the selected location

Click Exit.
