Display Pre-Assigned Control Numbers

When you click Pre-assign in the Manufacturing Order Maintenance (MIM), Material Usage Maintenance (MUA), Material Usage Inquiry (MUQ) program, or Manufacturing Order Cost Inquiry (MJI), you display the lot or serial control numbers that have been assigned to the parent item.

The program displays these fields:

Displays

Control number

The serial or lot control numbers assigned to this item

Qty assigned

The quantity assigned

Qty stocked

The quantity received into finished goods inventory

Qty rejected

The quantity rejected during inspection

Qty received

The quantity received, but not yet stocked

Status

A controlled item number status:

Assigned in MIM

The control number was assigned in Manufacturing Order Maintenance (MIM) program

Received to stock

The control number was received into finished goods inventory

Assigned by user

The pre-assigned control number code selection for this item is R. You assigned the serial number using the BSNAP program.

Returned

The control number was returned and not used.

Received

The control number was received but not yet received to inventory

Display control numbers in reverse order

Click For/Rev. Click again to display the list in its original order.

Display only the total quantity assigned, stocked, and rejected

  1. Click Totals.

  2. Click Print totals to print the totals or click Exit to continue.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Display control numbers from a specific number

Click Restart. The program prompts Control number. Enter the first control number you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first number in the file.

Print the control number listing

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Return to the order header

Click Exit.

Exit the program

Click Quit.
