Display Pickings for a Manufacturing Order

Use the Manufacturing Order Picking Inquiry (MSQ) program to display pickings for a manufacturing order. See Road Map for work flow.

If you accessed this program from another program, skip step 1.

  1. Enter the manufacturing order number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the manufacturing order from a list.

    The program displays these fields:

Field Name

Displays

Mfg order no

The manufacturing order number that you entered or selected

Due date

The date the order is due to be completed

Item no

The parent item number on this manufacturing order followed by the item description

ECL

The Engineering Change Level for this manufacturing order

The program displays these fields for each picking occurrence:

Field Name

Pick no

The picking number assigned to the shipment

Status

The shipment status:
In picking
: Components are obligated but not yet picked
Picked
: Components are picked

Date created

The date the manufacturing order was created

Date picked

The date of this picking

Oper seq

The operation sequence number at which picking occurred

If components are not tied to an operation sequence, the parent item displays

Picked by

The person who performed the picking

  1. Select a picking number and click Detail to display component quantities. See Display Picking Detail for a Manufacturing Order. Click Exit to return to this program.

  2. Choose the appropriate options:

Display the list in reverse order

Click For/Rev. Click again to display the list in its original order.

Review your options for this program

Click Prog opts. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries.

Display quantities for the selected picking

Click Detail. See Display Picking Detail for a Manufacturing Order. Click Exit to return to this program.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Display picking numbers from a specific number

Click Restart. The program prompts Pick number. Enter the first number you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first number in the file.

Print the picking listing

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Exit this manufacturing order

Click Exit.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Quit.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click Exit:

Display the next record in the file

Click Next.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
