Road Map: BOM Where-Used

Use the BOM Where-Used (MWU) program to display parent items on standard bills of material in which a component is used.

Before you run this program each time

You should run these programs in this sequence: None required

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • Bill of Material Maintenance (MPS) to enter bills of material.

  • Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) to set up inventory items for your branch and identify the Current ECL.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.
