Add a Component Technology Code for Manufacturing QC

Use the Component Technology Codes (TQCCT) program to add codes that describe component technologies (e.g., surface-mounted, through-hole) used during the manufacturing process. See Feature Overview: Manufacturing Quality Control for more information.

Existing codes and their descriptions are listed:

Field Name	Displays
Cd	Component technology code
Description	Description of the component technology used for the component

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Add a component technology code	Click Add. The program prompts Code. See step 2.
Display or maintain a component technology code	Highlight the line and click Select or double-click the line.
Delete a component technology code	Highlight the line and click Delete. See Delete.
Copy a component technology code	Highlight the line and click Copy. See Copy.
Print the list of component technology codes	Click Print. See Print.
Exit the program	Click Exit.

Enter or change data in the following fields:

Field Name	Type / Max Length	Action / Description
Code	Required 10 alphanumeric	Enter a unique identifier for the component technology code.
Description	Required 30 alphanumeric	Enter a description or change the description of the component technology.

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Accept the data.	Click OK. If the component technology code was just added, the new code is saved and the program prompts for another code. If the code already existed, the program saves any changes you made and returns to the list of component technology codes.
Return to the list of codes without saving the new code or changes	Click Cancel.
Save changes and leave the record displayed	Click Apply.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
