Add a Functional Area for Manufacturing QC

Use the Functional Area Codes (TQCFA) program to add codes for the functional test areas (e.g., ICT, AOI). See Feature Overview: Manufacturing Quality Control for more information.

Existing codes and their descriptions are listed:

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Add a functional area code

Click Add. The program prompts Code. See step 2.

Display or maintain a functional area code

Highlight the line and click Select or double-click the line.

Delete a functional area code

Highlight the line and click Delete. See Delete.

Copy a functional area code

Highlight the line and click Copy. See Copy.

Print the list of functional area codes

Click Print. See Print.

Exit the program

Click Exit.

Accept the data.

Click OK.

If the functional area code was just added, the new code is saved and the program prompts for another code.

If the code already existed, the program saves any changes you made and returns to the list of component technology codes.

Return to the list of codes without saving the new code or changes

Click Cancel.

Save changes and leave the record displayed

Click Apply.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
