Background: Missing Line / Tag Listing

Use the Missing Line / Tag Listing (HMR) program to print a listing of lines or tags for which you have not entered a count. See Road Map for work flow.

The Physical Inventory Update (HCU) program cannot update a cycle that has open lines or tags. Therefore, you should print this listing to ensure that none are missing before you proceed with the update.

The listing prints in warehouse and bin location sequence unless you select other Sort options. See also: QMRP Users.

 The listing includes this information:

  • Cycle number followed by Annual if this is an annual physical inventory count

  • Branch

  • Requested by

  • Warehouse if the item is warehouse/bin controlled or if you have entered a location in the Primary whse field of the Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) program  

  • Bin location if the item is warehouse/bin controlled or if you have entered a location in the Primary bin loc field of the Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) program

  • ABC class

  • Item number

  • Stocking unit of measure

  • Standard unit cost

  • On hand: Quantity on hand prior to the count

  • The program prints ******OPEN****** if you have not entered a count.

  • Line number

  • Control number: Serial or lot numbers for a controlled item

To print a listing that is similar to QMRP, select this option:

  • Click the Sort tab, select 1 for the Print order column for Line number.
