Copy Blanket Order Lines

When you click Copy/Blnkt then click Blanket in Sales Order Maintenance, the Copy Blanket Order Lines popup window displays the current order and line number, expected ship date, the item number, and item description.

  1. Enter or change data in these fields:

Enter the number of lines (1 to 900) that you want to create when you copy this line. The program adds the newly-created lines to the end of the order.

Number of days between lines

Accept 7 or enter a different number of days to offset each new line or clear if you are entering a Specific day of month.

The program adds this number to the Expected ship date of the line you are copying and sets Date wanted, Date promised, and Expected ship for each new line to this date. For example, if you enter 10 and the Expected ship is the first of the month, the dates for the first new line will be the 11th if you leave the Date of first copied line and Count working days? fields blank.

Specific day of month

If you did not enter a Number of days between lines, enter a specific day (for example, 15 for the 15th day of the month) to assign each new line that due date.

The program sets the Date wanted, Date promised, and Expected ship for each new line to this date, beginning with the next month.

Date of first copied line

Select the date you want to use for the Date wanted, Date promised, and Expected ship fields of first new line or leave blank to add the number you entered in the Number of days between lines field to the Expected ship of the line you are copying.

Count working days?

Required

Select to use the shop calendar or leave blank to use calendar days. Example: If you select and your shop calendar has a 5-day M-F work week, weekend days are not included.

Retain existing price?

Required

Select to use the selling price for the line you are copying or clear to set the Selling price field on the new lines to .00000.

Copy notes and user flds?

Required

Select to copy notes and active user fields or clear to not copy them.

Click OK. When the copying completes, the program returns to the list of order lines.

Return to the order without copying the line

Click Cancel. The program returns to the list of order lines.
