Display Results from the Sales Tax Interface

Use the Tax Audit Inquiry (TAXAQ) program to display tax interface information for an order and its shipments if you use the sales tax interface.

  1. Select the type of order:
    S/O Sales order
    EDI EDI order
    RMA RMA
    QUO Quote
    RBS Repetitive billing

  2. Enter an order number the order number you want to see results for.

  3. These fields are displayed:

The sales order number

Shp

The shipment number

Date/time

The date and time the call was made

Call type

Description

GETTAX

Call made during order entry, maintenance or shipment confirmation to get tax information

POSTAX

Call made by the AR Invoice Register (RR) when it is posting the final tax

Seq

A system-assigned sequential number

Status

The result of the call: Success if the call was successful or Error

Taxable amount

The taxable amount

Exempt amount

The exempt amount

Tax amount

The tax amount

Message

Blank if call was successful or a description of the error. See Tax Processing Errors.

Click Prog opts. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

Print the list

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Display further detail about a message returned

Highlight a line and click Detail or double click the line.

Specify a different order or return to the program you called the audit list from

Click OK.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
