Select User Programs
When you click OK or Restrictions for an Include or Exclude user in the User Maintenance (UIM) program or when you click Programs for a category in the User Category Maintenance (XUC) program to set up access or restrictions to specific programs, these fields display:

Click Sel to the left of a program name to select it. If the User type for this user is I, this program is included; if User type is E, this program is excluded.
Note
Be sure to give users access to UIM if you want them to be able to change their password. Also they need access to MENUFAV and RPTMNU and maybe *SPOOL and ZE.

Click Range to select a range of programs.

Choose the appropriate options after you have selected a range of programs:

Click Add range. The program displays the selected range of programs. |

Click Remove range. The program removes programs in this range from the display. |

Click Modify. |

Exit without adding or removing programs |
Click Exit. |

Click Sel to the left of a program name to remove the check mark and thus exclude or include it.

Click Restart. The program prompts Program name. Enter the first program you want to display or leave blank to begin with the first program in the file. |

Display all programs or only selected programs |
Click Selected/All. If you selected a category in the User category field in the user's record, no programs display because you cannot add or delete programs for a user in a category. |

Add or remove a range programs or select a type of program |
Click Range. |
|
Exit the screen without updating |
Click Cancel. |
|
Accept the selected programs and exit |
Click Exit. See Add a User or Add a User Category. |
