Set Inventory Obligation Option

Use the User Options Maintenance (UOPT) program to set options that determine how a program runs for all users of the program, for all users at a branch, or for specific users.

Select if you want to display warehouse/bin locations or lots that have no available inventory or leave blank if you do not.

If you select and use manual obligation or click Obligate, the system displays all locations or lots, even those with none available.

If the quantity in inventory is obligated to other orders, the system shows 0 or a negative quantity available.

If you selected Y, B, or C for the Negative inventory allowed option in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Inventory Control Options), you can select to obligate a location or lot, driving its quantity available negative.

If you leave blank, the system displays only the locations or lots that have a quantity available that you can select.

Note: Save options is automatically selected.
