Road Map: System Options Maintenance

Use the System Options Maintenance (XM) program to set options that tailor your system to suit your business requirements. You can maintain all options, except Installation Options, after your system is operational.

You should run these programs:

  • Branch Maintenance (TBM) to set up branches.

  • User Maintenance (UIM) to set up user records.

  • Numbering System Setup (XOC) to set the layout for system assigned numbers for sales orders if you want invoice numbers to be the same.

  • Inventory Adjustment Codes Maintenance (TIAC) to set up adjustment codes if you plan to use the Automated Location Warehouse Movement feature and RF Program Options.

  • Warranty Tracking Codes Maintenance (WTCM) to set up event codes if you plan to issue warranties and want to link notes or user fields to a significant occurrence in the warranty process.

  • Ship Via Codes Maintenance (TSV) to set up ship via codes and select the BOL required? field.

  • Label Program Maintenance (TDLM) program to add a custom program to print address, shipping, and item labels.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.
