Road Map: User Fields Maintenance
Use the User Fields Maintenance (XMO) program to add up to 25 user (i.e., custom) fields to many PowerShift files.
Before you run this program each time
You should run these programs: None required
Before you run this program the first time
You should run these programs:
System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to select a date display format for your enterprise, Branch Maintenance (TBM) to select a date display format for your branch, or User Maintenance (UIM) to select a date display format for an individual user.
Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.
Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.
After you run this program
You will need to use associated maintenance programs to enter data in user fields. Some examples:
Bill of Lading Maintenance (BLM) maintains user fields in the Bill of Lading Header (B1A) and Bill of Lading Lines (B1B) files.
Asset Addition Maintenance (FA) maintains user fields in the Fixed Asset Master (F1A) file.
Customer Maintenance (CM) maintains user fields in the Customer Master (C1A) file.
GL Account Maintenance (GMM) maintains user fields in the General Ledger Master (GLMAST) file.
Sales Order Maintenance (OE) maintains user fields in the Sales Order Header (O1A) and Sales Order Lines (O1) files.
Vendor Contract Maintenance (VCM) maintains user fields in the Supply Chain Release Lines (VC2L) file.
To print user fields on documents:
Document Output Parameters Maintenance (TDOC) to set output parameters for each type of document.
