Multiple Manufacturing Branches with Centralized Pricing
This enterprise consists of two manufacturing branches, one of which has three sales offices and the other has one, each manufacturing branch has two tracking branches, and a pricing branch. In this example, the pricing branch, which is not an actual facility, centralizes pricing for the entire enterprise. Purchasing is centralized for each manufacturing branch. BR-1 handles purchasing for the west coast and BR-9 handles it for the Midwest. These differences may be due to personnel (e.g., an experienced purchasing agent is in Sales BR-9).
