Road Map: Warehouse Map Maintenance

Use the Warehouse Map Maintenance (TWMAP) program to set up stocking locations within each warehouse created in Warehouse Maintenance.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

  • Warehouse Maintenance (TWT) to add warehouse codes.

  • (Optional) Equipment Type Maintenance (TEQT) to add equipment types for warehouse mapping.

  • (Optional) Location Type Maintenance (TLOCT) to add location types for warehouse mapping.

  • (Optional) Location Category Maintenance (TLCAT) to add location categories for warehouse mapping.

  • (Optional) Physical Zone Maintenance (TPZT) add warehouse zones for warehouse mapping.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Branch Maintenance (TBM) to select the Whse map active? option.

  • Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) to select the map name in the Primary whse field.

  • Warehouse Listing (WHL) to print a list of all, active, or empty warehouse locations.

  • Warehouse Inquiry (WHQ) to display item numbers, control numbers and quantities for selected warehouse and bin locations.
