Set PO Maintenance Options

Click the Prog opts button in the PO Maintenance (VOE) program to set and change options that determine how you run this program. Your system administrator can run the User Options Maintenance (UOPT) program to set or change the option for all users of this program, for all users at a branch, or for specific users.

  1. Set these options:

Default print confirming as N?

Optional

Select if you want the Print confirm? field to be blank for new purchase orders or leave blank if you want the field to be selected.

If you leave blank, the Print confirm? field is selected and the text "Confirmation Order" prints on the vendor copy of the purchase order.

Unit cost exc incr matl cost?

Optional

Select to display a warning when you enter a unit cost that is higher than the item's standard material cost or leave blank to display no warning.

If you select, the program prompts The unit cost entered exceeds the material cost; correct? Click Yes to use the higher cost or click No to change the Unit cost field.

GL org and account required?

Optional

Select if you want the GL org code and GL account no fields on the PO line to be required or leave blank if you do not.

  1. Click Save to save these options for future use.

  2. Choose the appropriate option:

This button does not display in the User Options Maintenance program.

Exit without applying these options

Click Cancel.
