RoboHelp 8 - IFrames

In truth this is really a changed feature. However, it was previously so difficult to use them that I think we can regard them as a new feature.

How to create an IFrame

Insert > HTML > IFrame

Give the frame a name and add the details of what it is to contain. It can be another topic, an external HTML file, a website, an intrantet page, some video, or even a 3D PDF showing an engineer a CAD drawing that can be animated or manipulated by the end user.

In this example I have created an IFrame that shows the user a website allowing them to find the time in any part of the world. Maybe the topic is about international communications and the author wants the users to get time information from this site.
