Electronic Referrals Automatic Import/Export

Description

This screen displays the status of all the orders/results that have been imported/ exported for the selected WinPath system.

Accessing Automated Import/Export

1. Right-click the Electronic Referrals program and then select the Properties option.

2. Select the Shortcut tab and then, at the end of the Target field, enter:

1. • SYSTEMn EXPORD - calls the application and allows the automatic export of orders.

   • SYSTEMn IMPORD - calls the application and allows the automatic import of orders.

   • SYSTEMn EXPRES - calls the application and allows the automatic export of results.

   • SYSTEMn IMPRES - calls the application and allows the automatic import of results.

NOTE:

• SYSTEMn defines the WinPath system to be used, as defined for that terminal.

• If EXPORD is entered, the program will automatically export orders to the selected referral laboratories only if the Automatic Order Export option has been ticked in the Location Configuration.

• If IMPORD, EXPRES or IMPRES is entered, the program will automatically import and export to every location defined.

The next time you open the Electronic Referrals program, the appropriate WinPath Electronic Referrals Automatic Import/Export window is displayed.

Working with Automatic Import/Export

The WinPath Electronic Referral Automatic Import/Export window displays the status of all orders/results exported/imported, as appropriate to the shortcut.

• Click Process Now to automatically create Export/Import orders/results for every request, as appropriate to the shortcut.

Once a batch has been processed, the program waits 60 seconds before processing the next batch.

• Click Exit to stop the export process and close the application. A message box prompts you to confirm whether to close the Automatic Process for Electronic Referrals.
