Road Map: Repetitive Billing Maintenance

Use the Repetitive Billing Maintenance (RBM) program to add or change a customer's repetitive billing records. See Background for more information.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to set the Tax type description option.

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to select a date display format for your enterprise, Branch Maintenance (TBM) to select a date display format for your branch, or User Maintenance (UIM) to select a date display format for an individual user.

  • Audit Trail Maintenance (XAT) to activate system logging of entries and changes.

  • User Fields Maintenance (XMO) to set up user fields for this program.

  • Customer Maintenance (CM) to set up customers and set the Active? field.

  • Customer Ship-to Maintenance (CSM) to set up customer ship-to addresses.

  • Repetitive Billing Item Maintenance (RBIM) to set up items for repetitive billing.

  • Repetitive Billing Category Maintenance (RBCM) to set up repetitive billing category that is a dependent item (for example, contract, lease, license, or fee).

  • Sales Rep Maintenance (SM) to set up sales reps.

OR

Sales Rep Assignment (SRAM) to assign sales reps to the commission hierarchy and/or Commission Rate Maintenance (SRCM) to set up commission rates.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Repetitive Billing Inquiry (RBQ) to display repetitive billing records.

  • Repetitive Billing Listing (RBL) to print a list of repetitive billing records.

  • Repetitive Billing Report (RBIC) to print a report that shows the amounts each customer is to be billed for the period and create orders for the items billed.

  • Repetitive Billing History Listing (RBHL) to print a list of repetitive billing items.

  • Audit Trails (ATR) print an audit trail report.
