Override Shipment Weight

When you select a shipment and click Detail, you can override the calculated weight (see Shipping Weight Calculation) and enter the weight you want to use for this shipment.

  1. Enter or change data in these fields:

Select the appropriate package type.

Enter the weight of this shipments that you want to report to the shipping company or leave blank to use the total calculated by the program.

The program displays the weight you enter in Estimated freight weight field.

Pallet/Slip

Select if this shipment is a pallet or slip, or leave blank if it is not.

Addtl shipper info

Optional

Enter additional shipper information.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Move to the field and make changes. Click Apply.

Delete this bill of lading

Click Delete. See Delete.

This button is only active if no shipments have been selected for this bill of lading.

Enter or change notes for this shipment line

Click Notes. See Enter Notes or Change Notes.

Enter data in custom fields your company uses

Click User. See Enter Data in User or Shadow File Fields.

Note
This button displays only if you have set up user fields for this program in the User Fields Maintenance (XMO) program.

Return to shipment selection without saving changes

Click Cancel.

Save changes and return to shipment selection

Click OK.
