Display Customer Contacts

Use the Customer Contact Inquiry (CLQ) program to display contacts for a customer. See Road Map for work flow.

Note
If you accessed this program from another program, skip step 1.

  1. Enter the customer's number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the customer from a list. The program displays the contact names and their titles.

  2. Select the contact you want to display and click Select.

The program displays these fields:

Field Name

Displays

Title

The title of this contact

Ship-to

The ship-to address for this contact

Address 1 and 2

The street address for this contact

City

The city for this contact

State

The state for this contact

Postal code

The postal or zip code for this contact

Country

The country for this contact

Phone number 1

The phone number for this contact

Hint! Click the telephone receiver icon adjacent to the field to call the contact.

Phone ext 1

The extension for this telephone number

Phone number 2

The alternate phone number

Phone ext 2

The extension for the alternate telephone number

Fax number 1

The fax number for this contact

Fax number 2

The alternate fax number for this contact

Email address

The email address for this contact

Hint! Click the envelope icon adjacent to the field to launch an email to the contact.

Mobile phone 1

The cellular / wireless telephone number for this contact

Mobile phone 2

The alternate cellular / wireless telephone number for this contact

Department

The contact's department number or name

Label code 1 - 10

The label codes that apply to this contact

Each label code represents a different mailing list. For example, you can have mailing lists for executives, technical personnel, and purchasing agents.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Display notes

Click Notes. See Display Notes.

Display data in custom fields your company uses

Click User.

Note
This button displays only if you have set up user-defined fields for the Customer Contact Maintenance (CLQ) program in the User Fields Maintenance (XMO) program.

Exit this contact

Click OK.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Quit.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click OK:

Display the selected contact

Click Select.

Display contacts from a specific contact

Click Restart. The program prompts Contact name. Enter the first contact you want to display or leave blank to begin the display with the first contact in the file.

Print the contact name listing

Click Print. See Print.

Display the previous set of records in the file

Click Page up.

Display the next set of records in the file

Click Page down.

Exit contacts for this customer

Click Exit.

Exit the program

Click Quit.

  1. Choose the appropriate options when you click Exit:

Display the next record in the file

Click Next.

Exit the program
