Document Print History Detail

When you click Detail in Document Print History Maintenance (DOCM) or Document Print History Inquiry (DOCQ), you can see how many times a specific document was printed and where it was sent. Detail displays only if you selected the Track document history? option in the Document Output Parameters Maintenance (TDOC) program.

The program displays these fields:

Field Name

Displays

Seq

The print sequence number

Date/time

The date and time of the document print request

Device

The output device name used to print this document

Recipient

The recipient for this document copy

Sent to (address/fax/file)

The email address, fax number, or file/path name that received the document.

Attention

The person's name that appears on the cover page and the attention line on the fax

Att docs?

A check mark indicates form-related and/or item document(s) were included when the document was output; highlight the line and click Attchmts see them

User

The user that printed the document

Program

The program used to print the document

Archive file name

The name of the PDF archive file. The file is stored in the Archive path/folder specified for the document in Document Output Parameters Maintenance (TDOC).

Imported doc description

The description of the imported document if one was specified

Job ID

Applicable to fax output only; the job ID is used by the fax server

Cc?

A check mark indicates there was cc (carbon copy) on the document copy; highlight the line and click Detail to see the cc email address

Bcc?

A check mark indicates there was a bcc (blind carbon copy) on the document copy; highlight the line and click Detail to see the bcc email address

Msg?

A check mark indicates there an exception during processing; highlight the line and click Detail to see the message

Click Prog opts. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries.

Print the document print detail

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Return to the document listing

Click OK. See Display Document Creation History.

Display an archived document

Highlight the line and click View or double click the line. The archived document is displayed if it is available.

Note
The selected document must have an archive file name associated with it or it cannot be viewed.

Display document attachments

Highlight the line and click Attchmnts. Form-related attachments (set up in Document Output Parameters Maintenance) and item documents (set up in Item Document Master Maintenance) that were output with the document are displayed. See Display Document Attachments.

Display the document print history record

Highlight the line and click Detail. See Display Document Print History Detail. Click OK to return to this program.
