Display Orders on Hold

When you click Sales in the Executive Information Summary (EIS) program, select Orders on hold or Orders on credit hold, and click Detail, these fields display:

Field Name

Displays

Customer no

The customer who placed the order

Customer name

The name of the customer for this order

Order no

The number of the sales order

Date ordered

The date the order was entered

Reason

The reason the order is on hold

Reason description

The description of the reason code selected when this order was placed on hold

Open total

The open (i.e., not shipped) gross order amount minus header discounts

Customer on hold amount

The customer's on hold balance

Note
A program option (see Set Options for the Order Hold Inquiry) controls if orders on credit hold, manual hold or both are displayed.

Review your options for this inquiry

Click Prog opts. See Set Options for the Order Hold Inquiry.

Print the order listing

Click Print. See Print an Inquiry.

Go to a related program

Click Jump. See Jump.

Display the total amount of orders on hold

  1. Click Totals.

  2. Click Print totals to print the total open amount or click Exit to continue.

Display line items for the selected order

Click Detail. See Display a Summarized Sales Order. Click Exit to return to this program.

Display credit information for the selected customer

Click Credit. See Display a Customer Credit Record. Click OK to return to this program.

Exit orders on hold

Click Exit. See Display Sales Statistics.

Exit and return to the menu

Click Quit.
