Type / Max Length |
Action / Description |

Enter a date within the period |
Optional |
Enter or select the date in the period you want to report, enter a date shortcut or leave blank for the current period. The program uses this date to determine the period on which to report. For example, if your fiscal calendar corresponds to a calendar year and you enter March 23, 2020, the report is produced for 03/2020. Although normally used for open periods, you can run the GL Trial Balance for a closed accounting period. If the period is closed, the report prints the word CLOSED in the header after the period. |

Print consolidated trial balance? |
Optional |
Select if you want to print a consolidated trial balance or leave blank if you do not. If you select this option and enter a consolidated organization for the Org or Org group Selection option, all organizations in that consolidation are combined into one trial balance. If you select this option and enter an organization group for the Org or Org group Selection option, all organizations in that group are consolidated into one trial balance. If you select this option but do not select a consolidated organization or organization group, the trial balance is for one organization. |

Include zero balance accounts? |
Optional |
Select to include accounts that have a balance of zero or leave blank to omit them. |
||||||||
Convert currency? |
Conditional/Optional |
If the multi-currency feature is active, select to convert different currencies to one currency or leave blank not to do this. If you do not select this option, you should evaluate only individual account values because totals (of multiple, unlike currencies) may be meaningless. |
||||||||
Convert to which currency |
Conditional |
If you selected the Convert currency? option, select the currency to convert to. The default is the company's base currency code, but you can print the report in any other currency for which you have established appropriate exchange rates. |
||||||||
Select currency exchange date |
Conditional |
If you selected the Convert currency? option, select the date to use for the exchange rate or enter a date shortcut. The report uses the exchange rate in effect on this date. |
||||||||
Suppress account type subtotals? |
Optional |
If selected, subtotals for each account type (i.e., assets, liabilities, capital, revenue & expense) are not included on the report. |
