Print a Multi-level Cost Report for a Single Item

Use the Multi-Level Cost Report - Single Item (MICI) program to print a report that shows the material, labor, overhead, and outside service costs of the components of a parent item. The report is identical to Multi-Level Cost Report (MIC) but enables you to specify the parent item's ECL. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Enter the parent item number and ECL or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the item and ECL from a list.

  2. Review your options:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

    2. Click the Program tab to set these program specific options:

Accept 1 to print a single level of the bill of material or select a different number of levels.

Include scrap factor in cost calculation

Select to include the Scrap % from the Bill of Material Maintenance (MPS) program or leave blank to print the item costs without the scrap factor.

Select to print items with a quantity used per assembly of zero.

Split out setup labor?

Optional

Select to spit labor cost into its setup and run components.

Replace incremental material cost with

Optional

If you want to replace the incremental material cost in the report, select B Base year, L Loaded or U User-defined. If the selected cost is not zero, it, rather than the incremental material cost, is used in report calculations.

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Review the report on the screen before printing

Click View. See Background for a list of what displays.

Print the report

Click Print. See Background for a list of what prints.

Note
The report prints immediately if the option Allow device override? in the Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) program is not selected.

If this option is selected, the program prompts Output device. Accept the default device that displays, which is specified in the Date-Output Device Maintenance program, or enter the name of a different device.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Redisplay current options

Click Refresh.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
