Move On Hand to Floor Stock

Use the Move to Floor Stock (RFIMIFST) program to move on hand quantities to floor stock inventory. Control numbered (lot or serial) items cannot be moved to floor stock. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

Accept your default branch code or scan the branch code whose inventory you want to move. The branch must be in your inventory group.

Scan the number of the item you want to move.

Scan the item's current location in one or two scans, depending on your login branch setting.

If your option setting requires two scans, the program requires an entry for at least one of the two fields.

A valid entry displays the item's description and current location quantity at the bottom of the screen.

Enter a positive number to increase floor stock and decrease on hand.

Accept the default adjustment code set up in the System Options Maintenance (XM) (RF Program Options) program or scan the code for the type of adjustment you are making.

A valid entry displays the new floor stock quantity and the issue/adjustment code description at the bottom of the screen.
