Display an Item's Location

Use the Inventory Location Inq (RFISQ) program to display the warehouse/bin location of an item and current on hand and floor stock quantity. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

Scan data for these fields:

Field Name	Type / Max Length	Action / Description
Br	Required 4 alphanumeric	Accept your default branch code or scan a different branch code.
Item	Required 24 alphanumeric	Scan the item number. If the item number is not found, the program looks for a serial number match.
Ctrl	Optional 24 alphanumeric	Scan the serial or lot number if you want to display only the location for that control number. Leave blank to display all locations for the item.

The program displays these fields:

Field Name	Displays
Desc	The item's description
Cur OH	The total quantity on hand at this location This field is zero if the item is floor stock
Cur FS	The floor stock quantity if floor stock exists for the item
Prim loc	The primary location for this item.
Wh Bin	Warehouse and bin locations if the item if warehouse/bin controlled
On hand	On hand quantities for this item at the displayed locations

Note
If the item is serialized or lot-controlled and warehouse/bin-controlled, the location and quantity may be displayed more than once; the program is showing different quantities for different receipt dates.

If there are more locations than can be shown on one screen, the program prompts More? (Y/N).

Scan Y to view more locations or scan N to return to the Item prompt.

When all locations are displayed, the program prompts TAB to continue.
