Move All Inventory from One Location to Another

Use the Location Movement (RFLOCM) program to move items/control numbers from one location to another location within the same branch.  You can use this feature if, for example, you receive manufactured items to a staging location and want to move them in bulk to a shipping or put away area.  It can also be used to move mixed pallets, if you assign the pallet as a “location”, without having to scan individual item or serial numbers.

If some of the items are in consignment, a warning message is displayed and you can continue: if you opt to continue the consigned quantities are moved to the new location along with the on hand. If some of the items are obligated, the obligation will be re-assigned to the new location.

See Background and Road Map for more information.

Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

  1. Scan data for these fields:

Scan the current location in one or two scans, depending on your login branch setting.

If your option setting requires two scans, an entry for at least one of the two fields is required.

Scan the destination warehouse and bin location, in one or two scans depending on your option setting.  If the warehouse map is active for the specified branch, the location must be valid and must be an active location.
