Move a Tool to Stock

Use the Move Tool to Stock (RFTOOLS) program to move a tool from a work center back to stock. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Note
To move a tool to a work center, the work center must have a warehouse location in Work Center Maintenance (WCM), and it must have this tool assigned to it.

Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

A valid entry displays the tool's description and stocking unit of measure.

The program displays the tool's current work center/machine location.
