Pick Selected Components

  1. (Conditional) Select a component that has not been obligated and click Obligate or double-click the component if you selected the Double-click comp to obligate? Program option.

Accept the displayed quantity required or enter a different quantity that you want to pick. You can enter more or less than the quantity required.

Enter a negative quantity to correct a previous picking error. For example, enter -6 if you picked 6 more than you should have. When you click Pick, the system changes the Qty picked accordingly.

Auto-obligate ctrl?

Conditional/Optional

Select to have the program obligate this quantity of a controlled component or leave blank to select them yourself.

    1. Click Proceed.

    2. (Conditional) If you did not select the Auto-obligate ctrl? field and the component is controlled, click Sel to the left of the control number or location that you want to obligate. For a serial controlled component, repeat until the Remainder is 0. Then click Exit. See Obligate Items.

      If you entered a negative quantity of a controlled component, see Return Controlled Components to Inventory.

  1. Click Pick to pick all components that are obligated. The program prompts Include all material not currently on a shipment and obligated through [date].

  2. (Conditional) Change the date if the Comp due date for an obligated special purchased component is in the future.

  3. Click OK. If you selected the Display shipment created msg? program option, the message Shipment number [number] has been confirmed displays.

  4. (Conditional) Click OK to acknowledge the message.
