Display an Indirect Operation

When you click Operations and select an indirect operation in the Routing Inquiry (RTQ) program, these fields display:

Field Name	Displays
Operation code	The code that identifies the operation in this sequence
Work center no	The work center where this operation is performed
Operation type	I: Indirect
Machine number	The machine in the work center that performs this operation
Oper desc 1 - 4	The description of the process performed in this operation
Indirect labor cd	The code that represents the hourly labor rate for this operation
Std/Alt oper	The operation sequence type: S: Standard A: Alternate
Overhead rate total	Sum of the overhead rates (based on the four overhead codes in the work center record)
Dept number	The number of the department responsible for this operation
Mfg branch	The manufacturing branch where the operation takes place
Move time	The number of shop days the manufacturing orders spends intransit from this operation to the next
Send ahead qty	The quantity that you can send ahead to the next operation, splitting lots into a smaller quantity in order to begin the next operation before completing the current operation

Select a different operation	Click OK.
Display notes for this operation	Click Notes. See Display Notes.
Go to a related program	Click Jump. See Jump.
Display the standard indirect operation	Click Std operation. See Display an Standard Indirect Operation. Click OK to return to this program.
Display changes made to this operation	Click Audit. See Display an Audit Trail. Click Exit after you view the audit trail to return to this program. Note This button displays only if you have activated this audit trail in the Audit Trail Maintenance (XAT) program.
Exit and return to the menu	Click Quit.
