Road Map: Work Center Inquiry

Use the Work Center Inquiry (WCQ) program to display work centers.

Before you run this program each time

You should run these programs in this sequence:

  • Work Center Maintenance (WCM) to create work centers.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Enterprise Options) to select a date display format for your enterprise, Branch Maintenance (TBM) to select a date display format for your branch, or User Maintenance (UIM) to select a date display format for an individual user.

  • User Fields Maintenance (XMO) to create user-defined fields for this program.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

  • Department Codes Maintenance (TDP) to set up department codes.

  • Labor Rate Codes Maintenance (TLR) to set up labor rate codes.

  • Overhead Rate Codes Maintenance (TORC) to set up overhead codes.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Work Center Listing (WCL) to print a list of work center records.

  • Work Center Where-Used (WCW) to display a list of all routings that use a work center.

  • Work Center Operations (WCO) to display work in process for work centers.
