Print Labels for Completed Controlled Items

Use the Mfg Order Control Number Print Selection (WOCS) program to print labels for completed serialized items on manufacturing orders. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Enter the manufacturing order number or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the manufacturing order from a list.

    The program displays the parent item number and its description followed by these fields:

  1. Choose the appropriate options:

Click Prog opts. See step 3.

Select/de-select a control number to print

Highlight the line and click Select or double click the line. A check mark indicates the control number label is selected.

Select or remove a range of control numbers to print

Click Range. Enter the first control number in the range or leave blank to begin the range with the first number listed. Enter the last control number in the range or leave blank to end the range with the last number listed.

The program prompts: Select action for specified range?

  • Click Select to select all control numbers in the range.
    OR

  • Click Remove to de-select control numbers in the range.
    OR

  • Click Cancel to exit the range popup without selecting/de-selecting control numbers.

Select/de-select all control numbers

Highlight a line and click All. Click All again to deselect all lines.

Specify another manufacturing order

Click OK.

Print selected labels and exit the program

Click Exit.

Include items already processed?

Include previously processed/printed control numbers on the selection list. A Y displays in the Processed column for previously printed labels.

Include control numbers that have been received to stock regardless of the manufacturing order status.

Immediate print?

Select to print labels as control numbers are selected; leave this option blank to print labels on exit.

Drop directory

Conditional

A text directory must be specified if Batch process? is selected.

Batch process?

Optional

Select to indicate that labels are "batched" to a file before they are printed.

    1. Click Save to save these options for future use.

    2. Click Refresh to redisplay selected options.

    3. Click Ok to apply these options or click Cancel to exit without applying them.
