System Options Maintenance (XM) (Manufacturing Options) to set this option: MIM controlled items auto-obligate?

System Options Maintenance (XM) (Control Numbers Option) to define the format of serial and lot control numbers by branch or for the enterprise.

Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) to set up an item and set the Pre-assign ctrl no? field to assign serial or lot control numbers when you enter an order.

Item Control Settings Maintenance (IFM) to change the Pre-assign ctrl no field to P for existing items.

Label Program Maintenance (TDLM) to add a custom label program.

Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

Bill of Material Maintenance (MPS) to enter a bill of material for a parent item.

Manufacturing Order Maintenance (MIM) to enter a manufacturing order for controlled items.
