Change Configured Item Pricing

When you click Line price while entering an order for a configured product, you can change the total price of the configured product line. The program calculates the total price of the components that the customer selects. Changing the price is necessary only if you want to override that price.

The program displays these fields:

Field Name	Displays
Configured product	The item number the customer ordered
Description	The description of this item and modular routing
Qty ordered	The quantity of this item that the customer ordered
Parent unit price	The price of a quantity of one
Per unit (price)	The price of a quantity of one
Total (price)	The extended price: (Quantity x Unit price)
Cost	The cost of a quantity of one and the extended cost: (Quantity x Unit cost) This field displays only if you selected the Display cost/margin in product config? option in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Order Processing Options).
Profit	The profit for a quantity of one: (Unit price - Unit cost) and the profit for this line: (Total price - Total cost) This field displays only if you selected the Display cost/margin in product config? option in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Order Processing Options).
Marg %	The margin for a quantity of one: ((Unit price - Unit cost) / Unit price) and the margin: percent for this line ((Total price - Total cost) / Total price) This field displays only if you selected the Display cost/margin in product config? option in the System Options Maintenance (XM) program (Order Processing Options).

(Optional) Click Unit price and change the price per unit. When you press Enter, the program updates the total price.
(Optional) Click Total price and change the extended price (Unit price x Quantity ordered). When you press Enter, the program updates the unit price.
Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Change the price per unit	Click Unit price.
Change the extended price	Click Total price.
Accept the prices and exit line pricing	Click Exit. See Select Components of a Configured Product.

If you change a price, the program prompts [item number] will no longer be price by component, continue?

Click Yes to confirm that you want the price that you entered to override the price the program calculated by totalling component prices or No to retain the calculated price for the line.
