Road Map: Enterprise Inventory File Export

Use the Enterprise Inventory File Export (IMXML) program to export data from the Enterprise Inventory Master file (I1AE) to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet where you can edit the data before importing it back into your database. See Overview for more information.

You should run these programs:

  • Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) to set up items with settings that apply to all branches of the enterprise.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up a file output device.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Import Data from XML file (IMPORT) to import data from an XML file into your database.
