Export Enterprise Inventory Data

Use the Enterprise Inventory File Export (IMXML) program to export data from the Enterprise Inventory Master file (I1AE) to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet where you can edit the data before importing it back into your database. See Tutorial, Overview and Road Map for more information.

  1. Select fields to export. Item number is selected for you.

Select the checkbox in the Print column (on the left) for the fields that you want to export. For example, if you want to export the Description field, click the checkbox immediately after that field name.

    OR

Leave all blank and later click Print all if you want to export all fields.

    Note

The Whse/Bin loc?, Serial/Lot, Pre-assign ctrl no?, and Bypass code fields cannot be maintained. When you import the edited data, the original data in these fields will be restored.

  2. Select one to ten fields to use as selection criteria. You must choose at least one data selection field.

Select the checkbox in the Selection column (on the right) of fields that you might use to restrict the number of records you export. For example, select Item number if you want to export a range of items. Select Product class if you want to limit the export to the items that have the same product class. Because the program uses AND logic, if you enter selection criteria for two fields, records must satisfy both.

  3. Press F10. The program displays the fields you marked in the Selection column.

  4. (Optional) Enter or select a single value or the beginning of a range in the From column or click the Lookup icon and use the standard lookup options to select the value from a list.

  5. (Optional) Enter or select the end of the range in the To column.

  6. Press F10 when you complete data entry.
