Set Options for Print Queue Automation

Use the Print Queue Scheduler (PQJOB) program to set options for releasing print queues automatically with the PowerShift Job Scheduler (JOBS).

Setup options include the email address to which messages are sent if problems are encountered during processing. Individual errors are displayed by the print queue program for the indicated document (e.g., RPPM for customer invoices, VOPPM for purchase orders).

  1. Set options:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options.

    2. Click the Program tab to set these program-specific options:

Default user ID

Required

Select the user ID of the person who would process the print queue(s) in this job stream if it were run manually. The program processing results to the email address associated this user ID.

Output device for email notification

Required

Select the output device for data-related notifications and transaction logs. The device must be email (device type L Email) with 6 HTML in body of the email selected as the Email attachment format in Output Device Maintenance.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Exit the program
