Enter System Passwords

Select System Passwords in System Options Maintenance (XM) to set or use the System Passwords (XP) program to enter 32-character application passwords provided by Qantel Technologies Inc. The PowerShift Enterprise System and supplemental applications are listed:

Field Name	Displays
Application	The shorthand name of the application from the password list provided by Qantel Technologies Inc. PowerShift applications start with PS.
Application title	The title of the application
Status	Whether or not the application has a valid password

Highlight the application you want to enter a password for and click Select or double click the line. The program displays the selected application and title.
Enter data in this field:

Field Name	Type / Max Length	Action / Description
Password	39 alphanumeric characters	Enter the password from the list provided by Qantel Technologies Inc. The password can be entered with or without spaces. Hint! Copy/paste the password directly from an electronic copy of the password list.

Choose the appropriate options:

To	Do This
Validate and save the entered password	Click Apply.
Exit without entering or changing the password	Click Cancel.
Accept the password and exit to the previous screen	Click OK.
Exit to the menu	Click Exit.

Choose the appropriate options when you click OK or Exit:

Enter or display a system password	Highlight an application and click Select or double click the line.
Print the list	Click Print. See Print.
Exit the program	Click Exit.
