Road Map: Receiver Inquiry

Use the Receiver Inquiry (IRCQ) program to display a receiver.

Before you run this program each time

You should run this program:

  • Receiver Maintenance (IRC) to receive a purchase order, manufacturing order, transfer, RMA, vendor contract, workorderless parent, or consignment item.

You may also have run these programs in this sequence:

  1. Receiving and Inspection (IRI) to enter inspection results for items that require inspection or to stock purchased goods if you are using dock-to-stock receiving.

  2. Rejected Material Disposition (MRB) to select the disposition of items rejected during inspection.

Before you run this program the first time

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Purchasing Options) to set the option Material review board active?

  • Vendor Maintenance (VM) to set up vendors.

  • Vendor Price Maintenance (VMM) to enter a vendor item number and description.

  • Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) to set up items for your enterprise.

  • Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) to set up items for your branch.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices that you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.

After you run this program

You will most likely run these programs:

  • Receiving Report (VRR) to print a list of the receivers.

  • Inspection & Dock-to-Stock Status Report (VIS) to print a list of items awaiting inspection or receipt to inventory.

  • Material History Inquiry (MHI) to display the inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales transaction history for an item.

  • Vendor Contract Receipt Inquiry (VCI) program to display vendor contract receipts.

  • Material Scrap History Inquiry (MSHQ) program to display a summary of the scrap history for an item.

  • Material Scrap Detail Inquiry (MSDQ) program to display scrapped material detail.
