Print the AP Aged Trial Balance Report

Use the AP Aged Trial Balance Report (NTB) program to print an aging schedule for selected vendors by invoice date or due date. See Background and Road Map for more information.

  1. Set your options:

    1. Click the Runtime tab to set runtime options. See Set Options for Reports and Inquiries for more information.

    2. Click the Sort tab to set sort order.

    3. Click the Selection tab to select specific records.

    4. Click the Program tab to set these program specific options:

Select cutoff date

Select the cutoff date or enter a date shortcut. Depending on whether you select I or P in the Select to cutoff on I=Inv or P=Post date option, invoices with an invoice or posting date on or before the cutoff date are included in the aging schedule.

Select I to apply the cutoff to the invoice date or select P to apply it to the posting date.

Select number of days in aging

Enter the standard 30-day aging period or enter a different number of days to include in each aging period.

Include inactive accounts?

Select to list accounts that are not active or leave blank to omit them.

Include zero balance invoices?

Optional

Select to list all invoices, including those with a balance of zero, or leave blank to omit zero balance invoices.

Include reference/invoice date fields?

Conditional/Optional

Select to include the Reference and Invoice date fields or leave blank to omit them. Including these fields when outputting to a printer or spooler requires two lines per transaction.

This option is applicable only to printed output; the fields are included when outputting to a file.

Convert currency?

Conditional/Optional

If the multi-currency feature is active, select to convert all amounts to a single currency or leave blank to report all amounts as is, without conversion.

Convert to which currency

If you selected the Convert currency? option, select the code for the currency you want to convert to.

The default is your company's base currency code, but you can print the report in any other currency for which you have established appropriate exchange rates.

Select currency exchange date

If you selected the Convert currency? option, select the date to use for the currency exchange rate or enter a date shortcut. The report uses the exchange rate in effect on this date.

Click View. See Background for a list of what displays.

Print the report

Click Print. See Background for a list of what prints.

Note
The report prints immediately if the option Allow device override? in the Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) program is not selected.

If this option is selected, the program prompts Output device. Accept the default device that displays, which is specified in the Date-Output Device Maintenance program, or enter the name of a different device.

Save these options for future use

Click Save.

Exit the program

Click Exit.
