Road Map: Item Control Settings Maintenance

Use the Item Control Settings Maintenance (IFM) program to change the Serial/Lot, Whse/Bin control?, and/or Pre-assign ctrl no fields set for an item in the Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) program. See Background for more information.

You should run these programs:

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Inventory Control Options) to set the Cal available using committed/obligated option.

  • System Options Maintenance (XM) (Control Number Options) to set the options Control numbers by item? and Control number length.

  • Enterprise Item Maintenance (IM) to set up items for your enterprise.

  • Branch Item Maintenance (IMB) to set up items for each branch in your enterprise.

  • User Fields Maintenance (XMO) to create user-defined fields for this program.

  • Output Device Maintenance (XDM) to set up the output devices you plan to use.

  • Date-Output Device Maintenance (ZE) to select your default output device and set whether you can override that device.
