Sales Order Picking

Use the Sales Order Pick (RFSOC) program to pick items for a sales order, and print item labels, and pick items and print bill of lading labels. See Background and Road Map for more information.

Note
Instructions are written for Keypad mode. If you are operating in Scan mode respond with Return, Enter, Tab, or line feed where required.

  1. Scan the order number from the document printed with the Sales Order Print (OP) program or with the Order Shipment Selection (RFOSS) program if you selected the Print OP document from RF? in the XM (System Options Maintenance) (RF Program Options) program option.

  1. (Conditional) Scan the line number.

The program displays the item number, description, and default location.

OR

Enter USR to see a list of users currently picking this sales order.

  1. Scan data for these fields:

If your option setting requires two scans, the program requires an entry for at least one of the two fields.

if there is more than one item and you selected the Sales: Assign/pick seq serial numbers? option, the program displays the first serial number in the range. Scan the last serial number in the range.

Scan or accept the quantity displayed.

Scan a different quantity.
Scan 0 to not pick the item.

Pack loc

Conditional / Required

Scan the packing location.

This prompt displays if you selected the Sales: Pick/Pack Mode? System Options Maintenance (XM) (RF Options).

Box no

Conditional / Required

Scan the shipping box number.

This prompt displays only if you selected the Using preprinted box labels? option.

  1. If you are picking a line for a kitted parent item, you will also have to scan information about each component. See Picking Kit Components.

  2. Repeat the picking process for each item on the order.

The program prompts Complete?

Return to a line to correct an entry

Scan M. The program prompts Line. Scan the line number you want to change and complete changes.

Delete all picked quantities during this session

Note
Deleting the picked quantities will not delete the associated obligation. You can use Sales Order Maintenance (OE) to release an obligation or the program will attempt to pick the same units when RFSOC is executed again.
