Background: Order Release Selection

Use the Order Release Selection (MRR) program to select planned orders and requisitions for release and change an order before releasing it. See Road Map for work flow.

This program provides you the flexibility to select one, many, or all planned orders and requisitions for release. Use the Range button to select a range of sequence numbers, buyers, planners, or start dates. After you select orders, you can release a specific type. For example, you may want to release planned purchase orders so that purchasing can get a head start on processing them.

Order Release Report

When you click Release, you can print the Order Release Report. See Background: Order Release Report for what prints.

Order Release Selection Report

When you click the Report button, you print the Order Release Selection Report. See Background: Order Release Selection Report for what prints.

If the Order Release Selection program cannot release an order, you can print the Order Release Exceptions report. See Background: Order Release Exceptions for what prints.

Audit Trail

To activate an audit trail, select one of the files listed below in the Audit Trail Maintenance (XAT) program. The system records all transactions. You can then run the Audit Trails (ATR) program and select that file to print a report of these transactions.
